Details

35310-000 Thermo-plumb bob consists of a brass plumb bob, hollowed out to form an oil cup, and provided with a mercury-filled thermometer for reading temperature of oil. The Thermobob is used to determine vertical reference measurements of the amount of oil and viscous liquids left in storage tanks while reading the temperature of the liquid. The thermo-plumb bob can be attached and suspended from the end of a gauging tape to help to pull the measuring device to the bottom of the tank. Th thermo-plumb bob is machined and manufactured in-house from brass and features a hollow interior with a built-in thermometer, an eyelet loop at the top for attaching a tape, and clearly defined markings for accurate readings.
