35314-000 Thermo-plumb bob consists of a brass plumb bob, hollowed out to form an oil cup, and provided with thermometer insert for reading temperature of oil. The thermo-plumb bob consists of a brass plumb bob, hollowed out to form an oil cup, and provided with a mercury-filled thermometer for reading temperature of oil. The thermo-plum bob is used to determine vertical reference measurements of the amount of oil and viscous liquids left in storage tanks while reading the temperature of the liquid. The thermo-plumb bob can be attached and suspended from the end of a gauging tape to help to pull the measuring device to the bottom of the tank. Th thermo-plumb bob is machined and manufactured in-house from brass and features a hollow interior with a built-in thermometer, an eyelet loop at the top for attaching a tape, and clearly defined markings for accurate readings.
