Details

ASTM standard method D323 covers the determination of absolute vapor pressure of volatile crude oil and volatile non-viscous petroleum products, except liquefied petroleum gases. Construction of RSC Reid Vapor Pressure bombs and gages meet ASTM specifications. Seal is accomplished by means of the o-ring gasket, hand coupling is all that is required for a non-leaking connection. Each bomb is individually tested for 500 psi air pressure.
